yesterdae was my 2nd time working in mm.. hiong ah! 1 to 2 man.. my timing for da courses was ok, but my drinks-filling was neglected..da glasses were half filled at first, den it was totally empty.. da guests kept asking fer water.. for table 2 la.. got japanese.. i was tempted to show off my little knowledge of japanese and asked if dey are japanese.. (ming zhi gu wen). and dey ended up chatting to me throughout da whole dinner.. =.= make me so bz..
as for da 1st table, dunno if da pei peis are drunk or smth, treat me not bad la.. dere was 1 uncle, he claimed tat he was a waiter in his younger days as well, and he understood da pains of serving in a dinner.. and dey were very nice to me..dey helped me to collect da sideplates and den passed to me.. to save me da trouble of walking around wif da heavy median tray colllecting and changing sideplates.. *touched* 1 nice uncle also helped me write da comment card~ nice seh~ budden i juz discovered after da dinner tat he din write his particulars.. =.=
my dear service captain..(ming long or smth) was helping me out wif my courses, and told me to concentrate on my drinks..thanx pal~ =) and i discovered smth.. it seems to me tat all service captains at mm like to hav sweets wif dem..hahaz~ tat time shan mai offered me a sweet, and yesterdae our captain also offered da 3 of us a sweet each.. exactly da same brand..lolz..
made 2 frens yesterdae also.. bernice and mitchell.. both are nice gers.. =) me and mitchell was eating da desert after da dinner..lolz! mitchell is an old-bird man.. (pardon me for da word..lolz~) she was in da banquet line for.. 5 years! tat means she worked since 16 le..power.. her skills of her big tray (also known as oval tray) was superb! i wanted to learn..budden i can't picture da scene where i'd to work for weeks to pay for da cutleries tat i'd broke.. >.<>
as i was still sick yesterdae, i work till my face turned green..( hokkien, bin chehn chehn..lolz~) no strength la.. during clearing use median tray also shaking.. da nice pei pei in stewarding helped me.. told me to carry on wif my other work too..lolz.. and everytime i went to stewarding, he'd ask me.. " xiao mei! yao shen me?" meaning, "little ger! what are u looking for?" nice sia he. =)
tml going ying house swim and slack..it's been time fer me to relax... =)
